CJP was looking to spin up a brand around their program to develop high-quality on-ramps for families with young children. Naming, positioning, visual identity development were undertaken to bring this joyful brand to life.
The name and mark leverage the fertile symbolism of the pomegranate. Within the logo, the Star of David is articulated in the meeting of positive and negative space, underscoring pomi's position in the Jewish community.
The seeds, which represent the children and families that will be nurtured by engagement with pomi, were pulled out as a repeatable graphic element and were woven throughout the visuals. These fun little seeds are unique, idiosyncratic, and use gender-neutral colors to provide the greatest range of inclusivity.
The result is an energetic and warm brand crafted to appeal to young families.
